Biography
Wojciech Ogieglo is a Research Scientist at the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Center at KAUST in the group of Prof. Ingo Pinnau. In the past, he completed his postdoctoral stays at RWTH Aachen University in Germany (2015-2017) and the University of Twente, the Netherlands, (2014-2015) after graduating Ph.D. (cum laude) from the University of Twente in 2014.
Wojciech's research interests evolve around membrane technology and engineering. He is particularly interested in the fundamentals of molecular-level interactions between ultra-thin amorphous membranes and separated mixtures, as well as in the physics of penetrant-induced glass transition and swelling of ultra-thin polymer layers. He has pioneered in-situ spectroscopic ellipsometry in the field of industrial membranes.
