Biography
Basem Moosa is a Research Scientist at AMPM/KAUST in Saudi Arabia. He joined KAUST as a Post-doctoral fellow in 2010. In the Smart Hybrid Materials Lab(SHMs) at KAUST, he is working with Professor Niveen Khashab. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Saudi Arabia. His research interests include the development of novel organic-based macrocycles/cages that could also be employed in a variety of applications such as energy-intensive hydrocarbon separations, ion separation, and others.
