Biography
Lakshmeesha Upadhyaya is a Research Scientist in the group of Suzana Nunes. Before joining KAUST he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Membrane Science & Technology Center (MAST), University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA. He completed Erasmus Mundus master and European doctorate in Membrane Engineering from Institut Europeen des Membranes, Montpellier, France.
In KAUST, Laks's research is focused on the development of hollow fiber membranes, coating, and modules making for applications like dehumidification and organic solvent nanofiltration. He is also focused on the development of various flat sheet and hollow fiber supports on a pilot scale along with the operation of pilot-scale interfacial polymerization units.
