Biography
Dr. Li Cao received his Ph.D. from Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University, China. Now he is a research scientist at KAUST. His current research mainly focuses on the design of crystalline membranes for ion separation, desalination, environmental catalysis, and energy conversion. He has authored and co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed papers (including over 19 as first/corresponding authors) in Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, J. Mater. Chem. A, J. Membr. Sci., et al with over 2200 citations and an H-index of 28. He also serves as Guest Editors of Frontiers in Chemistry and Membranes.
