Mohamed Reda Akdim has been born in the Netherlands living for more than 47 years in The Netherlands. He has over 24 years of work experience. Holds a Ph.D. in Physics. Areas of expertise include Hydrodynamics and Separation Technologies; Solid-Liquid, Liquid-Liquid, Gas-Liquid. 

Prior employment; 
1. Research Centre for Plasma Physics as a Scientist, 
2. Polytechnic University of San Juan as a Guest Professor. 

Currently working as the Vice President Separation Technology, globally responsible for Research, Development and Qualification of Separation Technologies within TechnipFMC.
