Thien S. Nguyen received his degrees in Organic Chemistry from the University of Science in Vietnam (B.S., 2008) and the University of Houston (Ph.D., 2015). He joined professor Yavuz group at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2018 as a postdoctoral researcher and moved along with the group to King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2021 assuming a research scientist position. His research focuses on developing porous organic materials for various applications including gas capture and water treatment.
