​The equipment creates polymeric hollow fiber membranes using a technique called Diffusion (or Non-solvent) Induced Phase Separation method (DIPS or NIPS). A homogeneous polymer solution (or dope) is prepared by mixing a polymer, a solvent, and other ingredients (additives) then transferred to a dope tank.
