On February 15, AMPM center held its annual Family Fun Day. Faculty, staff, students and their families were invited for brunch followed by a live BBQ at the King Abdullah Monument park, KAUST.
The day aimed to recognize and celebrate the continued success of the AMPM researchers; as well as welcome new members and their families to our fantastic team. All the research groups participated in competitive games, demonstrating motivation, hard work, and cooperation.
Prof. Yu Han’s team was the champion of the soccer tournament in an exciting final against Prof. Susana Nunes team. In the exciting tug-of-war championship, it was Prof. Mohamed Eddaoudi’s team who turned out the strongest group, winning against Prof. Ingo Pinnau’s team, who put up a very strong fight in the final.
Kids and their parents alike enjoyed the family-friendly activities, e.g. inflatables fun zone, matching games, giant checkers and more.
