RESEARCH SPOTLIGHTS: Novel isoporous membrane-based humidity sensor

26 August, 2018

AMPM Center Prof. Klaus-Viktor Peinemann and team members Rahul Shevate, Md Azimul Haque, Faheem Hassan Akhtar and alumnus Luis Francisco Villalobos in collaboration with Prof. Tom Wu developed the first isoporous membrane-based humidity sensor. The sensor reported has one of the fastest response time towards the surrounding humidity change.

The article entitled 'Embedding 1D Conducting Channels into 3D Isoporous Polymer Films for High‐Performance Humidity Sensing' was recently published in Angewandte Chemie. Moreover, their work has been highlighted in Nature Middle-east and Nature Reviews Chemistry.
