“Winning a Nobel Prize is always a surprise no matter how many people might vote for you unofficially.  There are so many brilliant scientists who deserve such recognition and not enough prizes to go around.  So when I receive this award I will do so on behalf of all the scientists who are pioneers in chemical biology, especially my former trainees who did the work for which I am being recognized.  Thank you for voting for me and congratulations on your own prizes!”
