I am mainly working on the development and functional studies of various advanced microporous materials like porous coordination polymers (PCPs) for energy and environmental applications.
PCPs are porous network solids composed of metal ions and organic linkers. This hybrid nature makes them structurally diverse as well as offering modular methods for variation. They serve as a platform where the pore sizes pore shapes, network topology and the chemical functionalities lining and occupying the pores channel can determine their properties.
My research here is to develop a platform of highly tunable PCP materials based membrane that can be applied for a range of molecular separation technologies.
