Research Interests

Dr. Shawkat Ali’s research interests focus on development of wearable printed biosensors, circuits, and systems for real-time healthcare and monitoring applications. His research includes designing of low-cost and disposable sensors for biomarkers detection by using porous nano-structured biocompatible stretchable and flexible materials in combination with unconventional printed electronic technologies. His research extends to sensors interfacing and wireless sensor networking.
