Research Interests

Dr. Veerappan Mani’s research interests focus on developing biosensors for biomedical applications. Mainly, he is engaged in designing porous nanostructured materials and flexible electrodes to fabricate real-time in-situ and non-invasive sensors. Biomarkers of cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia are his current targets of analytes. Recently he has been exploring deep learning and artificial intelligence for analytical science.
