Scientists from the AMPM Center have been acknowledged with the Research Center Award during the final gala of the KAUST Winter Enrichment Program (WEP) 2019. This prize recognizes their outstanding participation in the Science Fun Fair held on January 21.
AMPM students and researcher showed ongoing research projects on adsorbent materials and membrane processes for natural gas treatment, CO2 capture, energy-intensive separation; and their potential industrial applications.
Students, external visitors, and entire KAUST community had the opportunity to participate in exciting hands-on friendly experiments as well as engage with researchers, students, and staff in a proactive learning workshop.
Dr. Justyna Czaban-Jozwiak, postdoctoral fellow in the Functional Materials Design, Discovery and Development (FMD3) research group at the AMPM Center, thanks to the WEP organization for awarding us this prize in recognition to the team important work carried out to disseminate scientific knowledge to the young people.
"We, at the AMPM center, are passionate scientists from different parts of the world and different backgrounds working together as a big family on improving environmental protection; and for that reason, our motto is: Together we are stronger", she explains.
